Overview
By 2012 more Chinese citizens lived in cities than in the country. There are many protests by farmers in the surrounding countryside of Beijing every year. This is due to a lot of corruption and discontent in the country with labor standards and laws. China is struggling with an influx of immigration, much of it illegal. Some other problems it is experiencing include foreign brides. Many people are immigrating to China looking for work. There are people of all ethnic backgrounds living and working in China that have immigrated in recent years. China used to have many people migrating from it in search of work in developed countries, this however is not the case anymore, many people are flocking from all over the world to China for work because of all its factories.
