TransportationBeijing has many modes of transportation and is a huge hub for it. Beijing houses the largest airport and biggest railway hub in China. The largest airport is Capital International Airport, with more than 90 airlines operating out of it. There are four main railway stations in Beijing. These sends trains to and from almost all cities in China. There are also high speed trains in and out of Beijing. There is also a Subway with over 18 lines. Due to extreme traffic it is one of the most efficient means of travel in the city. There is also a public bus that has over 700 lines all over the city. There are bus lanes in Beijing to assist with traffic.

Housing
Most people in Beijing live in apartments in Beijing. They are usually very small apartments, sometimes only 480 square feet. These complexes are usually around 6 or 7 stories high. Some new apartment buildings are up to 20 or 30 stories high. Homes in rural China are usually primitive, without amenities such as running water.
